Open Request for Ideas

TIFA recognizes that the best ideas can come from communities and institutions anywhere in India. We welcome proposals for interventions that can help the NTEP test new approaches, take strategic risks, build evidence, and advance efforts to end TB. We look for solutions to key NTEP challenges and priorities that are evidence based, cost effective, and show a viable pathway to scale and sustainability.

What is a “request for an idea”?

The Tuberculosis Implementation Framework Agreement (TIFA) project welcomes concepts for interventions to overcome challenges to meeting India’s TB elimination goal. Eligible organizations may submit an idea by completing the application on this site. Requests for ideas are reviewed periodically, following the TIFA review process. TIFA, the Central TB Division (CTD), and technical experts will screen each idea for alignment with the National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme’s strategic objectives; the degree to which it addresses a known problem or issue; and the practicality of implementing the idea and the likelihood of it generating results that can be scaled within a 12-month time period. See below for the review schedule and primary eligibility criteria.
