Open Request for Ideas

TIFA seeks innovative ideas to overcome obstacles in identifying and treating TB cases in India. By funding local solutions, TIFA ensures that TB interventions respond to community needs.  We encourage proposals that address National TB Elimination Program priorities in a sustainable and scalable manner.

What is a “request for an idea”?

The Tuberculosis Implementation Framework Agreement (TIFA) project welcomes concepts for interventions to overcome challenges to meeting India’s TB elimination goal. Eligible organizations may submit an idea by completing the application on this site. Requests for ideas are reviewed periodically, following the TIFA review process. TIFA, the Central TB Division (CTD), and technical experts will screen each idea for alignment with the National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme’s strategic objectives; the degree to which it addresses a known problem or issue; and the practicality of implementing the idea and the likelihood of it generating results that can be scaled within a 12-month time period. See below for the review schedule and primary eligibility criteria.
